Govan

Yardworks have been working in Govan since 2021 thanks to funding from Inspiring Scotland, Creative Communities. There is a wealth of community spirit, fantastic community lead organisations and initiatives. We have had the pleasure of working with some fantastic people and look forward to building on that in this project and beyond.

As part of our engagement programme in Govan we have been working with groups of young people at Govan Youth Information Project and Plantation Productions, alongside Elderpark Housing Association, involving them in workshops and consultations to determine the types of artworks they want to see in their local community, encourage creative development and improve their skills and understanding of Urban Art.
